Volunteer with our team at Russell – Orongo Bay Holiday Park and help support our efforts to save endangered wildlife and ecosystems within our predator free holiday park. Set in 14 acres of native New Zealand bush you can experience the picturesque location in the sunny Bay of Islands.
Plus you’ll enjoy the great working culture that comes with a small family business.
Volunteer roles:
If you are studying in tourism, hospitality, environmental management, parks and recreation, wildlife management or conservation (just to name a few) then volunteering with us can help you gain some valuable first-hand experience. Our volunteer roles assist with the day-to-day running of the park which may include: Customer service in the park reception and shop, administration, general maintenance, grounds & lawns, housekeeping, general cleaning etc. Plus with an abundance of wildlife and native bush in our predator free park there are a range of eco and environmental projects that you can also get involved in.
The volunteers:
The volunteer positions available at the park are suitable for friendly, motivated and enthusiastic people with a ‘can do’ attitude. If you take pride in your work, are well presented and love working with people providing the best customer experience then we would love to hear from you! Cabin accommodation will be available if required. Alternatively, we have sites available if you have your own campervan.
