Have you ever put down a Hāngī or learned the true meaning behind Matariki?

Russell – Orongo Bay Holiday Park and Russell Mini Tours are excited to bring you a unique weekend of festivities to bring the Matariki traditions to life. Honouring the Tangāta Whenua view of Matariki, led by our Kaumatua, we will gather for a weekend of celebrations to gain a deeper understanding of Matariki, remind us of the cycle of life, honour our ancestors, and celebrate life.
